The Basics & Newbies
-
Absolutely. In fact, our studio is built exactly for you. We don’t focus on perfection or rigid rules; we focus on the joy of the process. Every single class and taster session is designed to be gentle, supportive, and completely beginner-friendly. Our instructors are here to guide you step-by-step. No artistic gene required.

Yes! We firmly believe everyone has a creative side—it just gets buried under emails, life admin, and daily stress. Coming to a workshop isn’t about being a master artist; it’s about giving yourself permission to play, experiment, and enjoy a different kind of fun.

Art is a hands-on experience, so expect a little bit of beautiful mess! For pottery, we recommend wearing comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting clay on, and leaving the jewelry at home.
We provide full-length aprons for all our clay and painting sessions, and everything we use washes out easily in the laundry.

Pottery Specifics
-
Clay is a slow, mindful medium that can’t be rushed. Once you finish shaping your piece, it needs to dry completely for a few days before its first firing in the kiln. After that, we glaze it and fire it a second time. The whole process takes about 3 to 4 weeks. We’ll send you an email the moment your finished piece is ready to collect!

Because wheel-throwing requires a bit of technique (and our wheels are popular!), our wheel sessions need to be booked in advance. If you've never tried it before, we recommend booking a Beginner’s Taster Session to get a feel for the clay.
The Studio Experience
-
It means our studio is a sanctuary from the frantic pace of everyday life. We keep our class sizes small so the space never feels crowded or overwhelming. We play calming music, leave phones at the door if you wish, and ensure there is always a warm cup of herbal tea or specialty coffee waiting for you. It’s a space to unplug, slow down, and chat with lovely people.
-
We do! We love hosting restorative team away days, birthdays, and wholesome gatherings for friends.

We are not a licensed premises, but we are happy for groups to bring their own alcohol.
We provide glasses and have a fridge available so your drinks stay chilled. This makes our studio especially popular with hen parties and groups who want to celebrate in a relaxed, private setting.
